The Roadrunners play the first of four games in five days against top Arizona competition
The San Tan Charter Roadrunners (1-2) travel south on Power Road to play the Casteel Colts (1-1) on Tuesday night, 7:00 PM at Casteel High School. The game on Tuesday opens up a stretch of four games in five days where the Roadrunners will also face defending Open Champion Perry on Wednesday (4:30 PM), Williams Field on Friday (1:30 PM), and Higley on Saturday (1:30 PM) as part of the LV8 Invitational at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Last year the Roadrunners went 2-1 in the event, defeating Mountain Point and Peoria, before losing to Perry on the final day.

Sophomore Peyton Lubash (20) also scored in double figures for the Roadrunners, who trailed by as many as 18 in the first half before their valiant comeback effort.
On Saturday the Roadrunners faced a tough task against one of the top teams in California (LA Times preseason #6). Lubash led the Roadrunners with 16 points, while Germany added 15 as JSerra jumped out to a 23-10 first-quarter lead on their way to the 80-59 victory.
