The San Tan Charter Roadrunners return to the Section 7, Arizona's premier 'Juneball' high school event, opening up play against Francis Parker (CA) on Friday, June 20, 3:30 PM at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa. After winning their play-in bracket each of the last two seasons to advance to weekend play, the Roadrunners received a formal invite to this year's event, which will be making its debut in Mesa after playing at State Farm Stadium in Glendale for the past 3 summers.

This year's NFHS Crest Insurance Group weekend bracket features several notable teams, including Central Catholic (OR) at the top of the bracket, who finished the 2024-25 season ranked #4 in the state of Oregon with a 21-9 overall record. Other notable programs (with 2024-25 final state ranking) include Boulder Creek (Arizona #5), Brentwood (California #26), Rangeview (Colorado #3), Crespi (California #21), Layton (Utah #12), Perry (Arizona #1) and St. Ignatius (California #18).

The Roadrunners return eight players from the 2024-25 season, led by junior duo of Jase Benjamin and Peyton Lubash. The veteran-led team also returns seniors Kristo Jackson, Jachin Reynolds, and Jarred Johnstad. Rounding out the returners are juniors Tori Street and Dylan Vargas, as well as sophomore Bryce Whiting.

The event is a four-game guarantee with one game Friday, two games Saturday, followed by one game on Sunday.
