Following an electrifying performance at the 2023 Section 7, San Tan Charter makes its return this year, kicking off the event on Monday, June 17 at 7:10 pm against Copper Canyon. Playing in the Legacy Foundation Qualifier Bracket 9, the Roadrunners will also play at 1:45 PM and 3:55 PM on Tuesday, June 18th, with opponents TBD based on results. San Tan Charter must win all three games to advance to the tournament weekend June 21-23. All games will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

The Roadrunners are 3-2 entering the event, kicking off the summer with a late come-from-behind victory over St. Mary's in the annual BIBSI tournament. They followed that win with an impressive showing in the Monarch Sports 13th Annual PrimeTime Invitational, defeating Millennium and Brophy, while dropping games to defending Open Champion Perry, and Sandra Day O'Connor. St. Mary's, Millennium, Brophy and Perry all advanced the quarterfinals of the 2023-24 Arizona Open Tournament, with Perry defeating Millennium in the championship game, while O'Connor lost in the 1st round of the Open Tournament before making a run to the 6A state championship game.
